Let's talk I will contact you to arrange a no-obligation consultation

From the moment you get engaged, you spend hours carefully thinking about how to make your wedding special. Planning every detail to create the wedding of your dreams. It is safe to say that your wedding day may be the single most thought about day of your life.

It is for this reason that your wedding photos must capture the day with perfect timing and clarity. That being said, you don't just want to remember how things looked or what the bridesmaids wore; your photographs should also inspire those who view them to relive those moments and feel those emotions over and over again.

I want you to have a carefree day, spending your time enjoying your friends, family, and each other! Then I can do what I do. Create photographs of your wedding that are so vibrant, colourful, and full of love that you’ll recall each moment as if you were still there.

Capturing your day 3 ways

Cinematic Style:

I strive to achieve the “wow” of your wedding day by shooting a selection of images in a Cinematic Style. Cinematic style photos are the 'signature' images. The ones you could imagine on the cover of a wedding magazine, those that will hang proudly on your wall.

Creative & Romantic Photojournalism:

This style ensures that those other moments, the moments that make memories, get documented as well. My camera is at the ready to shoot every second. Which means I don't miss a thing. This is what really tells your love story and allows me to capture the unexpected, the rare, and the beautiful, the romance. And some of the fun that you didn't see on your day.

Traditional Style:

Of course it's equally important to capture those traditional groups shots and all those well-planned details. Typically, I will use natural light techniques to capture your beautiful timeless traditional shots. You can expect images such as a portrait of the cake, a picture of the bouquets, a pose with grandma or the giggling flower girls.

Kind words...

"Amazingly talented photographer. Captured the natural picture and lighting so well. Very personable and happy to adhere to your needs. I will be using you again. I LOVED my pictures, and the packaging the USB came in! Thank you Vicky Lewis. X"

Vicky has made mine and Toms wedding extra special. Tom was very nervous about having our photos taken, but Vicky made us feel so comfortable and relaxed through the whole experience. We have recently received our photos back and they are AMAZING! Each photo is finished to perfection, plus the box we received it in is gorgeous, also the memory stick was personalised which was a nice added touch.

I would recommend Vicky to everyone. Such an amazing photographer and captured our day perfect.

Vicky was the photographer for our wedding She was friendly, professional and really put us at ease in front of the lens. Vicky listened carefully to our brief, which was to capture natural shots of us and our guests throughout the day. She definitely delivered. The photographs were presented beautifully and truly look amazing - thank you ever so much Vicky!

Such a wonderful service you performed, way above what was expected. It was clear that you show a great passion for your work and you made the day great for everyone especially the children. The pictures are great and the techniques’ you employ to get the best out of the day were ingenious. Great service.

New Micro wedding prices added for 2020/21

In these uncertain times, I’ve seen an increase in couples downsizing their plans. The rise of the micro wedding is being predicted for the next year or two and I’d love to help out those couples who’ve decided to go for a more intimate wedding plan

What is a micro wedding?

A ‘Micro Wedding’ as they are being called is when couples have a very small selection of guests (20 - 30) of their very closest friends and loved ones. With less than 30 guests, being smaller in size, is usually cheaper, more relaxed and shorter in length than a traditional wedding day.

Of course, the micro wedding is far less work and much less editing, photographing 20 guests rather than 200 so it seems like a great idea to offer a micro wedding pricing package at a fair price.

FAQ

How do I know how much time I’ll need?

I arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony to prepare my equipment and be ready to photo once your guests start to arrive. I can also arrange extra time if you’d like photos of the bridal preparations.

I work closely with both you and your coordinator to fully understand your timings. So once you have your ceremony time I can help you understand how much of your celebration you will get photographed, whether that’s just ceremony and a few group shots plus bride and groom portrait with the 2 hour booking or include your reception and more time for those special candid photos with the 4 hour booking.

Are there any extra charges?

Any charges applicable will be confirmed in advance, so absolutely no hidden charges  Get in touch with your wedding plans and I’ll give you a no-obligation quote.

Travel charges are typically £50 - £100 for weddings outside of Oxfordshire depending on your location.

Free downloads of files are included as standard but you can add a USB memory stick upgrade if you’d rather not download the photos. Your photos will be available to you via an online private gallery.

Here's some examples, just for fun:

  • I LOVE the idea of my dog being the ring bearer, is this even a thing?

  • We're not great in front of the camera, can you give us some tips in the pre-wedding shoot?

  • Our amazing countryside wedding venue recommends we all wear wellies. Will this work in our photos?
